About Me
Hi, I'm Lee Ann.
I offer a range of holistic wellness practices. Drawing from my diverse background in neuroscience, culinary arts, yoga, massage, and traditional healing practices, I create personalized experiences that honor your unique path to wellness.
I've never been happy doing just one thing. Growing up, I spent most of my time studying or practicing piano and cello with my dad, who was a professional cellist and music teacher. I also went with my mom to the holistic health clinic where she worked and watched them do miraculous healing through acupuncture, reiki, kinesiology, and music therapy.
I thought I wanted to be a global public health doctor and musician because that was what everyone expected of me. For a long time, I lived for validation: I earned good grades, got into Harvard, majored in Neuroscience and did the pre-med track, played in the elite orchestra — and quite literally made myself sick with stress and anxiety.
Burnt out after college, I took a gap year in South America on a Michael C. Rockefeller Fellowship. I wanted to learn how to improvise — musically and in life — and to heal my relationship with my own mind and body. I started learning Jazz after a lifetime of Classical training; I practiced yoga, martial arts, and lifting weights every day in Argentina; I learned salsa, bachata, and Brazilian forró; I taught music to students in Lima; I studied plant medicine teachers in the Sacred Valley of Peru, hiked the Patagonias, began cooking in earnest, and made friends who taught me how healing affection and compassionate touch could be.
As a recovering perfectionist and people-pleaser, I have experienced my share of debilitating anxiety and depression. In searching for ways to let go of fear and inhibition, I discovered that yoga, massage, music, dance, and compassionate touch helped me feel more expressive, curious, and deeply connected.
In the last decade I completed a culinary arts certificate from Boston University, earned my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Yoga of Energy Flow, and I'm currently training to become a licensed massage therapist. Because these practices have changed my life, I feel called to share what I've learned and help others toward holistic wellness through mindful movement, compassionate touch, and authentic connection.
I am dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care that addresses each client's unique physical and emotional needs. True healing happens when we approach our bodies and minds with curiosity rather than judgment — when we embrace both our vulnerabilities and strengths as stepping stones to growth.
